# Change the email on a saved card

> Change the email address linked to a saved card.

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Update tokenized card data" icon="link-simple" href="/nomba-api-reference/online-checkout/update-tokenized-card-data" />
</CardGroup>

Change the email address linked to a saved card, for example when a customer changes their email in your app. This endpoint changes only the email. It can't change the card itself.

After this call, use the new email address when you charge the card. Charges with the old address are rejected.
